I’ve done it all: sales, management, training, hiring, building teams, and building systems and processes that help companies scale. I’ve seen companies with tight systems that ran like a machine, and I’ve seen ones so outdated I wondered how much longer they survived. I’ve had great bosses, and I’ve had micromanagers that made me hate every single day.
Things shifted when I joined a fintech company. I started working one on one with business owners and asking questions, like how they were running things, what was working, what wasn’t. The more I listened, the more they asked me to help. And what I saw was the same story on repeat: no structure, no foundation, no delegation. The owner was the business, wearing every hat, stretched too thin, and with no clear path to freedom.
